I graduated from Cornell University in 2008 with a B.S. in Apparel Design & Fiber Science. I am a technically trained patternmaker with a comprehensive knowledge of high-end garment construction and fit.

Patternmaking specialities include:

  • Flat pattermaking and draping for first prototype through final sample.

  • Creating production-ready patterns that include cutter's musts, grading rules and construction guidelines.

  • Digitizing and editing patterns through Optitex and Lectra.

  • Experience across a wide range of product categories including mens, womens, wovens, knits, tops, bottoms, outerwear, activewear, etc.

Development specialities include:

  • Creating technical sketches in Illustrator.

  • Creating tech packs in Excel including spec sheets, constructions guides, BOM's and grading rules.

  • Detailed knowledge of high-end construction and finishing techniques across:
    • Mens and Womens
    • Wovens, Cut & Sew Knits and Fully-Fashioned Knits
    • Tops, Bottoms, Dresses, Outerwear, Activewear
  • Managing and executing fit process for first prototype through pre-production sample.

  • Creating engineered and repeat prints and managing the print process from artwork submit through final strike-off.

  • Managing color development from lab dip through sample yardage.

  • Partnering with mills and vendors to create custom fabrics and trims.

  • Creating and implementing testing protocol for materials and trims.
